Passionate About Creating

I am an autodidactic creative whose passion for photography evolved into a pursuit towards digital marketing. My interest in photography began when I received my first camera, a Minolta point-and-shoot, from my grandparents. I used it daily to take photos until high school when my grandfather gave me his Yakima 35mm SLR film camera. In 2011, I took a high school course in film photography and the next year I earned a seat in an Advanced Placement digital photography course. I assisted my classmates in learning photoshop while learning the elements of digital photography to complete my own portfolio.

In college, I began telling short stories on the popular app, Snapchat. With Snapchat rolling out a new feature called “Stories,” I began telling my friends about absurd happenings and sharing updates on a daily basis. I continued to tell stories and began using Youtube to share and document other moments with friends that only a camera could keep forever.

Growing With Partnerships

In December 2016, I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Blaze On) with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a concentration in Social Media Management. I ultimately hope to use my education and experience to bring an exceptional understanding of digital marketing to small churches. I want to build up church staff with the ability to use digital marketing tools with confidence and expertise. Currently, I work at a highly-esteemed automotive advertising agency as an Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Team Lead where I focus on enhancing client’s websites with strong SEO practices. Staying on top of best practices that improve my client’s sites organically and gain experience with front-end website development and user experience. I spend my free time peaking my skills and helping small businesses get their foot in the door of digital marketing. I enjoy consulting individuals who have a passion to help others.
